Boplan safety barriers: A new standard in industrial safety

The NPSG Australia team is enthusiastic about the Boplan safety barrier system and see this system as a game changer in terms of performance and longevity.

National Project Manager Jesse Palmer says in the commercial warehouse sector ensuring the protection of workers, equipment, and infrastructure is paramount and this is where the Boplan system shines.

He believes the system offers unparalleled protection, durability, and versatility. “Boplan safety barriers are a standout product in the market,” says Jesse.

“They can withstand impact, reduce damage, and for us, it is an improved system. Forklifts and other equipment tend to bounce off it, unlike the old steel guardrails which would get damaged and then need replacing.’’

NPSG Australia have used the FLEX IMPACT® safety barriers extensively in a project at BWU6 in Sydney, a fulfilment centre spanning approximately 33,400 sqm—equivalent to around 4.5 rugby league fields. This fulfillment centre is expected to open later this year.

About Boplan Safety Barriers
FLEX IMPACT® safety barriers provide protection against collisions with forklifts and other vehicles. They are necessary in high-traffic environments or locations in which heavy loads are moved or transported, such as warehouses, production halls and airports.

Tests show that this type of safety barrier can withstand impacts up to 50.10 kJ. What is unique about the safety barriers is that, even in the event of a collision, the anchor points stay secured to the floor and the flexible elements regain their original shape.
